Project Lokun is a humanitarian project wholly owned by medical students from the NUS Medical Society.
There are a few areas:
Our funds are utilised in three key areas:
- Clinics and Pharmacy : free medication and diagnostic kits (such as malarial test kits and urine dipsticks) to all villagers who visit our on-site clinics.
- Health Education : educational materials for children and adults.
- Chronic Referrals : transport for chronic hypertensive patients to local NGOs which provide free medical aid.
Your generous donation will go a long way in helping to increase the villagers’ access to healthcare. Thank you.
Sponsorship In Kind
We aim to seek sponsorship for medical equipment and supplies, while drugs would most likely have to be bought in Cambodia itself as we continually have to resupply each day within the duration of the trip and to provide enough for our local doctor.
Other form of sponsorship like air-tickets for our volunteers etc are also welcomed.
We are looking for doctors to help us in conducting clinics at the various villages.
